Super Boring EventID Post

A list of the common EventID’s I always want to search for but can never remember.

 

 

Log Name: Security EventID: 4624 – Discover Successful logon account ID’s local or on DCs

Log Name: System Source: bugcheck EventID: 1001 – the computer has rebooted from a bugcheck

Log Name: System Source: EventLog EventID: 6008 – previous system shutdown was unexpected

Log Name: System Source: srv EventID: 2013 – disk is at or near capacity

Post XenApp 5 R01 x64 Windows 2008 Hotfixes

Problem:
After the installation of R01 for XenApp 5.0 on Windows x64 2008 – Outlook and PDF links stopped working.

Fix:
Install the Citrix provided post R01 hotfix here – http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX129366

Additional:
For some users this fix was not enough as they had already saved the blank associations in their profile

we had to delete the following keys
HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsShellAssociationsUrlAssociationsHTTP and HTTPS
